St. Philip's is a Roman Catholic Primary school provided by the Diocese of Salford and is maintained by the Salford Education Authority as a Voluntary Aided school. The school's Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications and admissions. For the most recent admission, September 2014, the governing Body has set its planned admissions number at 45 (Nursery 30 places).
Nursery Admissions
Applications for Nursery places for September, can now be made through school. The admission criteria, as set out in the admissions policy, is applied when determining the offer of a place. All nursery places are on a full-time basis. These will be determined by the Headteacher and governing body of the school. If you wish to make an application, please complete the downloadable form on this page, and email this to school using the email link.
Admission to Reception
Admission arrangements to the Reception are separate to those for the Nursery. Attendance at the Nursery does not give a child any guarantee of priority when it comes to consideration by the Governors of applicants for admission to the Reception class. Parents must make a separate application for a Reception place. All applications must be made via the local authority in which you reside.
